Voilà un premier aperçu, évidemment tout peut changer.

 

A noter [mode rage on]

Bon gros nerf des familles de la survie de l'Ombre Tank, et on uppe la menace de tous les tanks \o/

Perso, ça fait quelques semaines que je ne joue plus à SWTOR, depuis qu'un diablo diable est sorti de sa boite ;)

A couple other perspectives on the change:

 

1) The effect on damage reduction is much larger than tanking without, say, a pair of boots equipped now.

 

2) The effect on damage reduction is slightly smaller than tanking without, say, a chestpiece equipped now.

 

3) For a full Rakata tank, the effect on damage reduction is about equal to replacing all your current Rakata armor mods (including wrists and belt) with Level 49 blue crafted armor mods.

 

And, in addition of course, our self healing (which is frequently interrupted by knockback spam, or the need to move or interrupt enemy abilities) is being reduced by ~40%.

 

If there was some imbalance in PvE tank survivability, nobody seems to have caught on, because I have never seen any raid group specifically looking for a Shadow/Assassin tank, in the same way they favor, say, ranged DPS over melee DPS.

I compared the fraction of incoming damage taken by a Shadow/Assassin and a Vanguard/Powertech, including Mitigation, Avoidance and Shielding, assuming both are wearing full Campaign gear.

 

After 1.3, a Shadow/Assassin will take 12.4% more damage than a Vanguard/Powertech in identical gear.

 

Apparently this difference is supposed to be made up by our (40% nerfed) self-heals, which is ludicrous. The way it will actually be made up is by bringing a different class...

 

The difference under the current game version is 5.2%, much closer to what our self-healing can be relied upon to do.

 

But in any case, it is simply not true that we currently take the same damage as other tanks in PvE.

je dois reconnaitre également que la nouvelle animation est très moche et n'est plus en rien spectaculaire ...

Oui. C'était une des raison pour laquelle j'avais choisi la classe (quand j'ai vu le R2-D2 rouillé s'envoler la première fois...). J'aurais bien voulu qu'il mette un délai au Choc des Impériaux à la place.
